Our client required a full restoration and refurbishment of a badly delapidated cottage which faced onto the River Teign in Shaldon. The project was made more difficult as the building’s construction was a mixture of cob and sandstone and needed considerable structural repairs to the walls and roof which was constructed of old ship timbers. Our works involved removal of broken supporting bearers and replacement with steel supports along with damp proofing, lime rendering as well as to knock down and replace an existing rear extension. Our client was delighted with the finish both internally and externally.
